Enactus is a community of students and academics leaders at the University of Minnesota, Crookston that are committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to enable human progress. Enactus students apply business concepts to develop community outreach projects, transform lives and shape a better, more sustainable world.
The mission of UMC Enactus remains to educate, inspire, ad reinvest in our community while expanding our minds in the ever changing global business world. The global non-profit organization active in more than 40 countries, encourages students to work in partnership with business and higher education where they are challenged to develop community outreach projects including: free market economics, personal success skills, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, business ethics, sustainability, and environmental sustainability.

Passion Art Auction

Doors open at 7 p.m. Auction starts at 7:30 p.m.
All entries myst be submitted by Wednesday, February 13th. Each artist must fill out only one Artist Entry Form, but each piece entered requires its own Art Submission Form. Turn in all forms and artwork to Alex Busher (busch206@umn.edu). Artwork will be stored safely on the UMC campus until the date of the auction. There is no entry fee for the event. Enactus recommends artists voluntarily donate 20% of their proceeds to Enactus for use in competition travel. Enactus seeks to promote community improvement and growth through entrepreneurial projects. All donations are greatly appreciated.
Clean Water for Everyone (CWFE) 2nd Annual Dinner

Event begins at 6 p.m.
Clean Water for Everyone (CWFE) is a student initiative to fund clean water projects around the globe in an effort to reduce waterborne illness and promote economic well-being. Last year, CWFE Dinner proceeds helped fund the installment of a water filtration system at the Shree Mangal Dvip Boarding School in Kathmandu, Nepal, and this summer's installation of two bore hole systems in Nigeria. CWFE is an initiative of UMC Enactus, which is run by student and faculty volunteers.
Tickets cost $25 per person, with all proceeds being funneled toward CWFE water projects abroad. Entrees available include a chicken dinner and a vegetarian option. Entertainment and informational presentations will also take place at the dinner.
